LOVINGLY HANDMADE IN TANZANIA

Beautifully handmade by tailors in Tanzania, East Africa, these African print trousers are created using high quality, 100% cotton, original fabrics that are locally sourced. Stylish, comfortable and ideal to wear for casual occasions, each pair of trousers are individually handmade with love meaning each is unique and one of a kind! Our social mission is to empower tailors in Tanzania to improve their livelihoods.

Our founder, Sian, travels to Tanzania regularly to visit our supply chain that she set up from scratch. She visits the market to hand pick all the best prints, sits with our tailors to discuss new product development and helps to oversee production and quality control. Sian has built very good relationships with all our tailors including their families who she likes to spend time with during her visits where she practises her Swahili.

With each order placed our tailors have been able to invest in their own businesses. From opening their own workshops for the first time, to buying new machinery and equipment and hiring and training new staff there is a great deal of social impact happening on the ground which is a great pleasure to witness and share with you. Further benefits for the tailors include: increased income, increased job security, financial stability, spending more quality time with their families and being able to provide for them more easily.
