On 3 March 2017, our founder Sian proudly graduated from the Fellowship course at The School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE). The event was held at PwC in central London who provided Sian with mentoring support throughout the duration of the 9-month course. Congratulations to Sian who is now a Fellow of the school!

Sian graduated with 15 other inspiring social entrepreneurs who all contributed to their graduation event, which was attended by friends, families, mentors, corporate supporters and staff of the school. The evening included several student presentations, videos and a panel discussion about what makes a social entrepreneur, which was very insightful!
Sian introducing Kitenge and the fashion show
Sian contributed by organising a fashion show presenting pieces from Kitenge’s current collection of African print clothing modelled by her fellow students.
Watch the full Kitenge fashion show and check out the amazing dance moves by the models! The show was certainly a lot of fun, which is what wearing Kitenge’s wax print fabric is all about. The audience seemed thoroughly entertained!
